Construction Updates

While the Clark County Fair draws approximately 265,000 visitors every August, the Fairgrounds is truly a year-round destination. Hosting more than 150 events annually, we welcome an additional 200,000 guests through the gates for trade shows, sporting events, sales, swap meets, livestock shows, corporate meetings, private events and more.

To support this year-round use, Clark County (or FSMG?) developed a long-term Fairgrounds Master Plan to guide improvements over the next 10+ years. The projects outlined below represent early, high-priority projects designed to improve infrastructure, enhance the guest experience, and support the continued success of the Clark County Fair and Event Center.

Parking Lot Paving

One of the top priorities identified in the Master Plan is repairing and improving parking infrastructure. As a result, construction is currently underway to repave and improve drainage in Parking Lot A along Delfel Road.

Where Can I Park?

Now through April 2026, guests visiting the Clark County Event Center should follow posted signage and use either the West Entrance or East Entrance, then proceed to Parking Lot B for event parking.

Administration Building Expansion

Another key project identified in the Fairgrounds Master Plan is the expansion of the Administration Building. Construction is scheduled to begin after the 2026 Clark County Fair and is expected to be completed by spring 2027.

Once completed, the expanded Administration Building will:

  • Improve efficiency for year-round fairgrounds operations
  • Allow for the removal of the existing “old admin” building
  • Enable construction of a new Covered Rental Pavilion
