Dr. Jack Giesy Equestrian Arena Rental:
An integral part of the Clark County Fairgrounds, the Dr. Jack Giesy Equestrian Arena is home to various equestrian and canine groups, and suitable for horse shows, barrel races, cattle sorting competitions, clinics, dog shows, agility trials, small animal shows, rodeos, etc.
The Arena has a total show area of 225' x 112' (may be adjusted to increase the show area) a warm-up area of 100' x 112', includes seating for approximately 225, an event office, announcer stand, PA system, wash rack and restrooms.
Stall Barn 3 is located adjacent to the arena with 155 stalls, and Stall Barn 2 has 30 overflow stalls. Stalls are also available for larger draft horses/clydesdales.
Overnight RV/LQ parking may be available for show participants. Vehicle and trailer parking is available adjacent to the Arena.
Open Riding:
(OPEN RIDING IS NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)
When available, we welcome haul-ins for open riding in the Arena on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday between the hours of 10:00am - 3:00pm.
Open Riding Policies & Procedures:
- The fee for open riding is $20 per horse.
- Riders must call the administration office
the day they would like to ride in the Arena to determine if the Arena is available that day.
- Upon arrival, riders must check in at the administration office, complete a risk form and make payment.
- Stalls are not available for open riding
- Riders must clean up after their horses
- The Arena may not be groomed on days available for open riding
